Follow the basic steps listed below to create a simple bud vase as shown

Fill bud vase with water and preservative.

1. Insert 1 stem of base foliage (leatherleaf) into opening of prepared vase.
2. Place Rose into vase to establish height.   Cut rose stem with a sharp knife as rose is placed in vase.
3. Insert accent foliage into the design to complement the rose.   Remember to remove any rose foliage that will be placed below the water line.
4. Add Baby's Breath
5. Evaluate the design; adjust as needed to complete the design
6. Add Florist Bow

•  8" from one end of ribbon, pinch firmly between thumb and index finger.

•  Make a 3" loop (half the size of finished bow) pinch tightly.   If ribbon is one-sided twist length to right side.   Make second loop and pinch, loop over first pinch.

•  Repeat this process forming 4 loops on each side.

•  Make a center knot by forming a small loop over your thumb, pinch and wire all loops together.

1. Air inflate 9" Happy Birthday Star foil balloon;    9" foil balloon must be heat sealed, they are not self sealing
2. Attach   9" foil balloon to cup & stick; insert into bud vase as shown
